“When I decided to paint this little girl, I had a totally different concept in mind. My husband and I had just added a new member to our family — a little black and white puppy — and this little girl and the puppy had an instant connection. She would tease the puppy with her teddy bear, and the puppy would yelp and wag its tail, and then you would hear the sweetest giggle.”
